Austin For Kerry Meetup Thursday June 24

Come out and join us for our next Kerry MeetUp Thursday, June 24th at 7pm at Mother Egan's Irish Pub (716 W. 6th Street).

Our featured speakers include Jerry "Politex" Barrett the creator of the website bushwatch.org and editor of the new book Big Bush Lies: The 20 Most Telling Lies of George W. Bush; and Mark Strama, Democratic candidate for the Texas Legislature District 50.

As always, we'll have A4K T-shirts, Kerry bumper stickers and buttons, and, most importantly, information on upcoming events and on how you can GET INVOLVED.

Also, if you are interested in doing voter registration but are not yet deputized, Constable Bruce Elphant will be on hand at 6:30 to conduct training and swear you in. We have some very ambitious projects in the next few weeks and we need your help.
