Have any of you heard any info on turn out, or what predictions
look like?

I've checked all the likely web sites and haven't seen ANYTHING!

I've very interested to see how DeLay is fairing.

2. Thanks. I'll be watching. I was also hoping to hear some
predictions. I now live in Ga. so I doubt I'll hear anything here, but the locals used to at least be blabbering about turnout, and looks like.....stuff.

Just curious.

5. Good for incumbents; good for candidates that inspire the party base.

7. That'll happen in November. Meanwhile, the Republicans who come out
and vote for him will get exactly what they deserve: a hideous standard-bearer for the party that gave him power, and the derision of every honest American.

8. BUT, I wnat to kick him NOW! I never lived in Houston, even
when I lived in TX. But this idiot is worse that most of the other TX politicians I've known (except for Shrub!).

I wnat him out in the primary so it doesn't matter that his damn trial will be in January, or whenever it's supposed to be!

9. Exactly
We want DeLay humiliated, not merely warmed over until November.

11. That could be short-sighted.
If they choose a more respectible candidate in today's primary, that person could beat Democrat Nick Lampson in the general election, because the district is pretty conservative.

10. What about early voting?
We had almost 20K vote early this time in Webb.
