For all we know he could be a Republican. That's how ridiculous his candidacy is.

I'm irritated! I expect this out of the Republicans in Fort Bend (sheep) but not from the Democrats.

Has this been asked? Discussed already?

Does anyone think that voters clicked on Kelly's name because they didn't want to vote for a woman? A Jewish woman? I'm serious. Obviously, a lot of dems had no name recognition in this race at all. Why would they vote for Gene Kelly who is a nobody, a non-candidate. So, they are obviously looking down that list of names and as much as anything they are NOT picking Barbara's name because - ???

As I have stated before, I am seriously irritated about this!

6. I don't think you can read anything more into it than

the average voter in Texas is dumber than a doorknob.

I mean the Repukes officeholders in Texas and Bush make us the laughingstock and the only difference seems to be that the Democrats aren't officeholders. And the scarier part, is all the Democrats who didn't vote in the primary so they can sign Kinky's petition and THIS is what we get from the ones who aren't holding out for Kinky. Geeez!

Maybe it will change, but I don't have a lot of hope. Here's Gene Kelly in 2000.

I don't know how it was all over Texas in the 2000 runoff, but it rained like crazy in Houston and in our precinct and several surrounding ours, the senate runoff was the ONLY thing on the ticket and still, people, not a lot but enough, came out to vote for nothing more than a name they knew nothing about.
