U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay won a legal victory Monday when a state appeals court told prosecutors to stop issuing subpoenas in the case against the Sugar Land Republican.
The Austin-based 3rd Court of Appeals agreed with DeLay's lawyers, who had argued last week that 30 recent subpoenas — including one for DeLay's wife — came when all legal action in the case is supposed to be on hold.
The court also ruled Monday that the recent subpoenas issued by Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle's office are "null and void."

Oh well, I guess that we'll never find out what Christine DeLay was doing to earn all that money.
Now you see why it's so important that we win those 4 seats on that court. Republicans hold a 4-2 majority on the Third Court of Appeals. Pay attention and make sure you vote in those down ballot races. This court covers 24 counties - Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Coke, Comal, Concho, Fayette, Hays, Irion, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, McCulloch, Milam, Mills, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Sterling, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson.
These are our candidates:
Four for the 3rd - Diane Henson, Mina A. Brees, Bree Buchanan, and Jim Coronado.
Vote for them all. They are running for different seats not against each other.
