3. They didn't bother with
South Texas either, but that's ok. The Lege doesn't bother with us either? "What? You actually want us to FUND that new pharmacy school in Kingsville?"

5. Class of middle aged men laughed at missing his SOTUS
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 10:18 PM by BrightKnight
Somebody said something like: I guess we are going to have to miss Bush's State of the Union Speech tonight. The whole class exploded in laughter. I was too shocked to make a sound for a while.

It was an IT class at a DCCCD college filled with middle aged men.

Perhaps the FAUX finish really is starting to wear off.

8. East Texas is Bible thumping racists
When most people doing polling speak of East Texas, they mean Lufkin, Nac, Marshall, Tyler, Longview, etc.

Now, if Port Arthur, Beaumont and even Jasper and Newton counties had been thrown in the mix, Rita's Revenge would have shown up for certain. :) (esp now that FEMA is threatening to take back some of the money they doled out after the storm)
