One of these things is not like the others....
Via Greg, State Rep. Al Edwards is claiming to have the endorsement of Texas Democratic Party Chair Charles Soechting for the April 11 runoff. Kuff understands that inquiries have been made about this and a response is supposed to be forthcoming; when it is, he'll pass it along. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, blockwalking for Borris Miles begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Contact the campaign for more details.

2. Makes me wonder what position the candidates for chair
Makes me wonder what position the candidates for chair have on the threat posed to the state by sexy cheerleading routines. I know Glen thought it was ridiculous. Anybody know where Richie and Urbina-Jones stand?

3. I'd like to know too but
the State Chair represents the body of the Texas Democratic Party and therefore should remain neutral. That being said, I can only hope that he'll endorse Borris as well.

BTW, Happy Birthday NoPasaran!

4. But as the former state chair, he can endorse who he wants to
but why he would endorse Edwards is beyond me. Makes me all the more skeptical anyone he endorses.
