Glory days. Reflections on being 50.

Yep. That is me 50 ft in the air on top of the Aggie Bonfire in 1978. I was one of 6 head honchos. The top dog. Numero uno. Top drawer. It didn't fall on us that year. Thank God! I can tell you mind blowing stories about what we did!

It is amazing I came out of A&M with my own mind. Although it took be till 1992 to realize I was NOT a republican. Was a member of the Corps of Cadets. 2nd Lt in the army. Trained juniors prior to going to military camp.

Now check out this photo. I am third from the left. The 4th guy from the right is Larry McWilliams. We have the same birth date!

6. That brings back memories, lol

I was married on July 2 and my first baby was due March 24. Of course, my old wives' tale mom was mortified, because I wasn't married 9 months, until April 2, so it HAD to be impossible.

Boy was she relieved (at least one of us was relieved) when I went 3 weeks over-due. She insisted I'd been wrong all along, until the baby was born April 13 and weighed 9'10".
