Police say man hung woman by feet, burned her

For 19 days, a Fort Worth woman was repeatedly beaten, burned with a blowtorch and sexually assaulted by an ex-boyfriend, police said.

She managed to escape after her abductor fell asleep.

"It's a very shocking incident," said Fort Worth police Lt. Gene Jones. "The wounds were pretty substantial. Fortunately, this did not result in a homicide."

During her 19-day ordeal, the 42-year-old woman was strung up by her feet from a bedroom rafter and her hands were bound with duct tape. Her back was burned with a blowtorch and then drenched with Drano, police said.

all ste to do it again. I'll said it once more: rape (with victims of any age) should get life in prison without parole... let alone an incident with all of these extras thrown in. With some crimes, you shouldn't get a free pass or two, and this is one of them...

8. Playing baseball bat in a civilized judicial system

My first reaction was an overwhelming desire to play baseball bat with that guy. He deserves a really horrible death.

When I think about it for a while I would not want to be part of a society that would punish someone like that. A civilized judicial system could never adequately punish a crime like that.
