Barring any catastrophic developments. I must warn you that I am not a member of the late night set anymore, regretably. I would hope we could pull together a few of us, but I am certainly up for one of those two evenings.

2. April 5th is the DFT meeting

Democracy for Texas meeting. I don't think the food is that great at Mother Egan's, but it depends on what you want to eat. DFT meetings are a little noisy too. Something we might do is get together at Katz for dinner and then drop in at DFT just so can meet other good Austin Democrats, or the other way around. Drop in at DFT and then eat a Katz's. Katz's Deli is just a block away from Mother Egan's.

How does that sound?

The conference gets out at 5 on Wednesday. Maybe dinner at Katz so those who want to go to the DFT meeting can make it & those who want to hang can? :) I just found out that on Thursday, friends from other offices where I work are planning to have dinner together.

I might be able to put in an appearance there before heading to my meeting. Or I may just skip the meeting. It's one of those things that happens the first Wednesday of every month. :shrug:
