Kinky Lied About His Vote in 2000
The Stop Kinky! blog has this interesting find:

Kinky gave an interview to Susannah McNeely of Ruminator magazine at the beginning of his campaign for governor where Kinky said that he voted for Al Gore in 2000:

SM: Who did you vote for in 2000?
KF: I voted for Gore then. I was conflicted ... but I was not for Bush that time. Since then, though, we’ve become friends. And that’s what’s changed things.
SM: So it’s your friendship with him that’s changed your mind about having him as president more than his specific political positions?
KF: Well, actually, I agree with most of his political positions overseas, his foreign policy.... What he’s been doing in the Near East and in the Middle East, he’s handling that well, I think.

Yet that's clearly a lie because Kinky's voting records prove that he didn't vote in 2000:

According to Kerr County voting records, Friedman voted in the 2004 presidential general election but not in any other contest since 1994.

1. Well, hell!! I think his lying about a 2000 vote is
the least damning thing he said in his whole statement.

It makes no difference, if he didn't vote for Gore or anyone else in 2000, the fact he wants people to vote for him to be governor of Texas and he agrees with W on "most of his political positions overseas, his foreign policy....What he's been doing in the Near East and the Middle East, he's handling that well, I think".

THAT'S what he thinks???? Holy sh!t!!! From his own slimy mouth, pure sh!t!!

2. He's so drunk half the time he doesn't remember what he said
He obviously lied, since he hasn't voted since '94. So he's a lying drunk who doesn't remember what the heck he did as recently as 2000.

3. He will be in San Antonio today
Has anyone asked Kinky about his "inconsistencies" in public in front of the press?

From an email:

"Kinky will speak in San Antonio to students and faculty at St Mary's Law School on Thursday April 6th. He will address the crowd at 11:30am and take questions. The event will take place in the University Center, Conference Room A. This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Supporters will have the opportunity to sign the petition to get Kinky on the ballot as an Independent candidate and campaign merchandise will also be available for purchase. St. Mary's Law School is located at One Camino, Santa Maria in San Antonio.

Kinky will meet supporters at the Flying Saucer in San Antonio on Thursday, April 6th from 4:45-6:30 PM, during a live broadcast of Chris Duel's show on KTSA-AM. Supporters will have the opportunity to sign the petition to get Kinky on the ballot as an Independent candidate and campaign merchandise will also be available for purchase. KTSA (550AM) will be broadcasting live from the Flying Saucer from 4:00-7:00 pm. The Flying Saucer is located at 11255 Huebner Road in San Antonio.

4. I wish someone would ask him about his 2000 vote and whether he still
agrees with most of Bush's political positions overseas, his foreign policy, and what he’s been doing in the Near East and in the Middle East, and -- if not -- when did his view change and why.

I'd like to hear whether Kinky still thinks locking someone up with a "Negro talking to himself" is a good form of punishment, and why shouldn't we lock people up with Asians, or Latinos, or Anglos, or Jews talking with themselves.

I'd like to know if he's still advocating building a wall between Mexico and Texas and whether he's still advocating his infamous "Five Mexican Generals" border security plan.

I'd like to hear about all the political offices he's said he wants to offer to unqualified campaign supporters.

5. Are Kinky's foreign policy leanings relevant for the job
of Governor of Texas?

6. Kinky's competence and sanity are called into question by comments like
"I agree with most of (Bush's) political positions overseas, his foreign policy.... What he’s been doing in the Near East and in the Middle East, he’s handling that well, I think."

What a candidate eats for breakfast isn't generally relevant, either, but when he proudly announces that he eats babies for breakfast suddenly it's relevant.
