CRAWFORD, Tex., July 25 -- President Bush's weeklong trip to his ranch will be rudely interrupted Wednesday when filmmaker Michael Moore drops in to show his antiwar satire "Fahrenheit 9/11" in enemy territory, eight dusty miles from -- in Moore's view -- the scene of the crime.

Just got word Crawford Peace House has received permission from Police Chief to make it a public outdoor event. That means there is room for more people to attend. Spread the word.

7. Honestly, we'll probably go anyway, but I'm kind of glad Moore is

not coming. He's far too valuable a resource to worry about being put in jeopardy; I hope he goes on to make more documentaries and write more books.

Were you going to go the movie ANYWAY if Moore wasn't going to show up? Sheesh. It's not as if they didn't talk about showing the movie, PERIOD, in Crawford and the big hope was that the guy sponsoring it would get a copy of the movie to show.

I don't know what his reason is for not coming but the main consideration ought to be HIS MOVIE and not his celebrity. If you feel ashamed because he bowed out, so be it. But you speak for yourself
