Why wasn't bush booed at the baseball game? Here is the answer |

From DU:
"...although he received scattered boos there, he insulated himself from the worst by walking out to the mound accompanied by two injured American soldiers and the father of a soldier who was killed in action."
What a smart bastard.

1. He always has a shield around him |
|
He filters his audiences at public appearances. He doesn't watch the news or read newspapers, he has his minions give him a one page summary of news events. I'm sure the decision to surround him with soldiers wasn't even his. It was karl rove's. He's not a smart bastard, he's just a well managed one. I bet he doesn't even know his poll numbers are right there with Nixon at his lowest. They've filtered that for him as well.

2. What a chickenshit! (see definition below) |
|
"Paul Fussell, in his book Wartime, has the best definition: 'Chickenshit refers to behavior that makes military life worse than it need be: petty harassment of the weak by the strong; open scrimmage for power and authority and prestige; sadism thinly disguised as necessary discipline; a constant 'paying off of old scores'; and insistence on the letter rather than the spirit of ordinances. Chickenshit is so called--instead of horse- or bull- or elephant shit--because it is small-minded and ignoble and takes the trivial seriously.'"- "Band of Brothers" Steven E. Ambrose--2001
Yep--sounds like Bush
