DUBYA

i wonder how many texans were pleased with the speech he made yesterday about rumsfeld, oil prices
and staying the course?
if ever change is needed in policy it is now.
"if there is price gouging going on the federal gov.will look into the matter". rumsfeld is doing
a fantastic job."yea thats why the next president will clean up your mess!"
has he always "talked the talk" but failed to "walk the walk?"
answer "it sure looks like it from here!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. "I’m the decider and I decide what’s best"
That's what he said about Rumsfeld. Just when you think he can't sound any more like an ass, he comes up with this assinine statement.

I am the Decider!

What a damn fool!

My first thought when he starts acting like this is always that we, here in Texas, have had to deal with him so much longer than the rest of the country. We knew he was this dumb before he ran for president and that he would embarrass our country and sure enough, he has lived up to our expectations.

2. This sums up how this Texan feels about it!
The good Lt Gen Greg Newbold had it exactly right when he stated "The commitment of our forces to this fight was done with a casualness and a swagger that are the special province of those who have never had to execute these missions - or bury the results."

Everything else is secondary to this issue in my mind. We have a hell of a mess, but this will kill us, as the reparations will be huge. We are going to be a third world country for a long time to come.

3. Well being a Texan myself,
I never thought Bu$h walked the walk or talked the talk. Most Texans i know consider themselves good BS'er, but Bu$h never got the hang of it.

4. He isn't a Texan.
He tries the camouflage, but he ain't the real deal. Not by a long shot. His dad scared the beejebus outta me. George jr is exponentially a much greater threat. We know that.

5. Never meant to imply Bu$h was a born Texan,
but he likes to imply he's a Texan. For me i've never considered myself a Texas, i've always considered myself an american.

6. I was always proud to be a Texan ..
I think they teach that in grade school. That is until I lived four years in another state and in my absence George was elected governor. Appalling. I still love the place, for what it is. It is not the cat's meow to be sure, but has some fine people and lots of scenic adventures. But really. How can you respect a population that actually elects a serial moron . twice. I can't. I love the liberals here though. We are staunch. Have to be. Look at what we're up against.
