Any pictures from deLay protest in Austin?
The Houston Chronicle says he came in and out of the alley behind the building refusing to talk to anyone.

Yep. How proud we are of Tom DeLay.

1. Bug Boy DeLay scurries away
Can you say GIRLIE MAN?

Meanwhile, several hundred volunteers who otherwise would have gone downtown to protest his appearance stayed at their sites and registered thousands of new voters who four weeks from today will crush his minions Jack Stick and Todd Baxter like the vermin they are.

2. Way to keep the eyes on the prize, NP!
I wanted to see some protests, but as essential as yesterday was to the effort, we needed everyone out doing that.

Ya'll did it! Congrats!

3. Let me shout AMEN to that!
Protests are great fun, however ......

Let me give you an example. I was out with a team of women blockwalking last Sunday. The guy who was holding down the fort at the headquarters called me to let us know that about 40 anti-choice protesters were at our headquarters with signs and stuff.

For one full minute, we women considered going back to the headquarters with coat-hangers to out-shout them. At that exact moment, a woman came running down the street asking if we had voter registration cards because she needed to register to vote.

That settled it. Nobody's mind was going to be changed by counter-protesting. However, we could make a difference where it matters.

Let's get 'um where it hurts!
