I've been working with a puke-realtor for several weeks now:
He's 32 years old and a sole proprietor of a real estate business in Pasadena, TX. He's shown me roughly 15 properties so far. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I emailed him 5 properties that I wanted to see on Sunday. On Monday, he said he'd fit me into Tuesday to show the houses. After Tuesday he promised me I would see them on Wednesday. On Wednesday he said he was all jammed up and he had to be somewhere at 6 O'Clock and he would definitely fit me into Thursday. He called me on Thursday and asked me if I was ready to see houses. I went to his office and sat there for half an hour while he got codes to unlock doorson the properties I had selected. During this process he told me, "I had dinner with Rick Perry last night!" That's what prevented him from working with me on Wednsesday. WTF?

During our time together looking at houses, he attacked ACORN, told a lousy anti-democrat joke, and argued for voter ID's. I fought back with very obvious facts, and he had nothing in response. I said, "I hope they run Palin in 2012 so she can be mutilated just like in the last election."

I'm done with this fuck-head. I can't believe people are so stupid to bring politics into their client's lives. I'm looking for a new realtor right now.

2. Glad you stood up to this idiot
He was an a-hole to "assume" you wanted to hear his rant.

Hope you find a new sane realtor and a new home soon.

Sonia

5. And I'm glad they aren't
He is going to go the way of Palin - rare and stupid and one day forgotten.

:hi:

6. You're probably right....
We had some new friends over the other night for dinner - hopefully a potential job lead for hubby. I guess they didn't see the Obama poster hanging in my living room nor the "Keep Left" sign on my fence because they started talking about how its been 6 months and Obama has done nothing at all for this country. I just let them talk, nearly bit my tongue in half. Every now and then I'd try to be reasonable and interject something sensible into the conversation; but good lord they now want to return the favor of dinner. I just don't know if I can do it but if I do I might have to wear my Obama t-shirt. Sheesh. At least in the Dallas area we Obama voters are still in the majority.

8. Hopefully the blue is spreading out from the center.
I'm sorry you had to put up with that for a potential job. Can't believe they didn't notice the sign and the poster, but I guess people like that have blinders on.

7. Use a Buyers Agent over a traditional Real estate person...
a buyers agent works for YOU...a real estate person works for the seller

11. I used to be a Realtor in North Houston, but I haven't been active in 15 years
I do know a good Democrat who is a Realtor, in fact she used to be the County chair, but she's up north here too. If you need help finding one, I could give her a call to see if she knows anybody in that part of town.

Yeah, don't put up with that crap. His guess is right 75% of the time, but make him pay for gambling on you.

12. If he's having "dinner with Rick Perry",
you can bet part of the commission he stands to make on your purchase will end up in Perry's campaign account. :puke:
