To have to spend time with relations who are Bush fans. Lord give me strength not to disrupt the family holidays. Amen.

1. To Not Celebrate Nut'n! |

I am not even putting up a plastic tree! No lights, no gifts, no fiddledee dee! Hard, but not impossible. Almost a freeing experience! Have fun all you shoppers...you shop while they die! Walmart wants YOU!

In our family, we only give gifts for Christmas that are handmade or something that is meaningful to us that we think someone will like. We quit the commercial Christmas about 3 years ago. There are other places to shop other than WalMart...but part of our celebration this year is that my little brother is supposed to be home from Iraq Thursday--so we have much to celebrate and to be thankful for. If I could, I would bring them all home from this horrible war.

3. I didn't say I wasn't grateful. |

I am soooo glad your brother is coming home! That is a reason to celebrate and I'm sure baby Jesus would agree!
