OK. I am leaving the party and looking for Perry, Susan, and Lisa and find them at the bar.

And all I could think of was "Why did I volunteer to drive?" So I had to reluctantly leave.

Hey, come to the BAND party Sunday. I will stick around and buy a round!

3. Packed. They ran outta food twice

and even water glasses (OK; there's no excuse for that).

Seriously, it was big fun. Senator Rodney was our host; Sheila J Lee and Hubert Vo both spoke and circulated the crowd; Chris Bell was in attendance; couple of my other favorite people stopped and chatted -- Keir Murray, Kyle Johnston (Morrison campaign) and the lovely Melissa T.

Keir said merci me was in the crowd, but we missed seeing her.

A good time had by all.

5. I didn't see any of you.

We had to be back home by 7:45, so we had to leave while Hubert Vo was speaking.

I did have a chance to chat for awhile with Chris Bell and Gordon Quan sat with us for a bit, so that was nice. And we got some final plans squared away for the West Houston Democrats holiday party Saturday. I only noticed 9 of us from WHDC, Lyn.

6. I walked around the whole room looking for familiar faces

twice between 5:30 and 6:00, before I grabbed a seat with PDittie and the Mrs. by the far wall near the buffet. When Keir said you were there, I was ticked that I missed you!!!

7. I had a board meeting and could not make it

I was planning on attending but had a board meeting for my temple and could not justify missing it.
