Car crashes into Plano restaurant

Yikes..I guess they must mean the new one that had relocated further up Central Expressway? Amazing no one was killed..especially since the local restaurants usually have a boatload of people in the waiting area on Saturday nights.

At least seven people were injured when a car driven by an elderly man crashed into a restaurant entrance Saturday evening in this Dallas suburb, a Plano fire department spokeswoman said.

The vehicle plowed into the doors at the front of the Red Lobster restaurant, injuring patrons waiting to be seated.

The injured people were taken to local hospitals for treatment, but no one was seriously hurt, said spokeswoman Peggy Harrell.

"I believe most were injured legs," she said.
