C'mon, ya'll, we don't have any good progressive candidates in either 9 (Gary Griffith's district) or 10 (Bill Blaydes). Yes, it's a nonpartisan race but we all know those guys are Republicans. Anyone live in those areas and want to run? Or do you know someone who'd be good? In the last city council race, Griffith won with 4,000 votes. FOUR THOUSAND. We've got the activist support to do much better than that!

maybe. If the lines are right, if he'll just say yes, it could quite possibly be too good to be true. I have a secret. If he'll only step up.

On edit: He has run before.
He is a powerful speaker.
He is a well established and respected businessman in the community as well as nationally known and recognized.

He could and would be a very powerful force on the "council".
