It has been an honor and a privilege to run as a candidate for Utah State Democratic Party Chair. I have learned a great deal from the experience, and look forward to the opportunity to serving you over the course of the next two years.

Through my position as co-chair of the Utah Democratic Progressive Caucus (UDPC) over the past two years I have articulated a message in the media and in public appearances in favor of universal health care coverage, environmental stewardship, a quality education for all our children and against the corporatization of Social Security. I have established media skills I believe no other candidate brings to the position of chair, and I am proud of my efforts to stand up for Democratic values and will continue doing so as party chair.

As the only candidate to personally visit or send a representative to 2/3 of Utah's 29 counties during this campaign, personally author a “blueprint” for Utah (as opposed to a strategy for all Red States) and articulate what I believe our message should be as a party, I ask for your vote this Saturday at our organizing convention.
