There aren't many of us in Utah, so we need to be a loud bug in the ear of our representatives. Write them often (weekly ??) about your concerns. With email, it couldn't be easier. If you haven't ever written them, here is the link. Bookmark it:

I've written to our Congressmen and Senator's before and the reply is usually the same "canned" letter or some smarmy, condescending conservative dogma. I do get LTE's published in the Tribune once in a while. I just stumbled upon this Forum today (May 1), so I will make it a point to check in once in a while to see what's going on! I've been a DU'er for a couple of years and a Utah Lefty since Nixon. I also read BartCop and Buzzflash regularly.
