5:30 Cindy Sheehan Vigil and Bush Protest Planning Party

I do not want to detract from the vigil being held at the City Building at 7:30, but some of us are already committed to a meeting at 7:00 to plan the GWB visit next week. Given that we have been given a national press contact (details at the meeting), we need to continue this meeting to really make a good showing next week.

I would like to propose that those of us who cannot make the 7:30 vigil downtown create an ad-hoc vigil on Main Street at the entrance to the Gallivan Plaza from 5:30 to 6:30 and then some of us will head over to the meeting. We can catch some of the TRAX traffic, and whatever foot traffic is heading to the Plaza.

I already have signs, still-wrapped white tapers that we won't light, "Talk to Cindy" buttons and lots of cookies for any who participate.
