I just received the following from D4U. Please contact me if you are interested in doing what Howard Dean suggests; getting a ballot initiative to stop these machines . Please email me at clarity@udpc.org if you are. Thank you .

PUBLIC COMMENTS ALLOWED AT MEETING
Tuesday, August 30, 2005, 4 p.m.


Salt Lake County Council Chambers, 1st Floor -- the County
Council will vote on Lt. Governor Herbert's "HAVA Voting System
Agreement" at this meeting. Public comments are allowed --
three minutes per person.
