5. from Salt Lake City.

We started out at a park and marched to Washington Square, which has the city and county building. A lot of the crowd shots of the rally were before everyone got there. Another DUer that was there said 3000 people marched and more were waiting for us at the rally.

7. Lack of newspaper and TV coverage

The lack of local newspaper and TV coverage has me rather PO'ed. The police claimed (in the Tribune article) that there were only 1000 people. BS!!!

Seems that those in power who run the papers and TV stations here are more interested in Cheney's knees.

The Deseret News...well, need I say more. And the Tribune is now owned by a conglom owned by Denver publisher Dean Singleton....well known Bush felator.
