Coming to Utah this weekend, what's there to do. |

Coming down from Idaho and staying in downtown SLC. I have come down before and have just done the normal stuff. Anything unique or more fun going on? I am coming down friday and staying until monday night. Let me know please!

Go downtown and also make sure you drive up through the sugarhouse area. Wonderful homes and some cute shops to browse. Downtown around the convention center and railroad station was fun too. Look out for blondes and pregnant women...they are everywhere!

2. Salt Lake City marathon, Gay Pride and a Peace Rally today. |

The marathon is winding down right now--just some stragglers left. It ends up at the Gateway downtown where there is normally a lot of activities afterward. Also, SLC's Gay Pride Parade is tomorrow morning and the Festival goes through the afternoon. This is a big event and is heavily attended by the straight community. It seems almost mainstream now all these years later! The Farmers Market should be open at Pioneer Park, too. There was also a peace demonstration on 2100 South and 7th East this morning. Lots to do. Sorry I didn't see your post until now.
