SPANISH FORK, Utah – The Utah cave where a 26-year-old medical student died earlier in the week will be closed permanently and his body will not be removed.

State and county officials made the announcement Friday afternoon, saying it was simply too dangerous to try to recover John Jones' body.

1. That is really tragic.
He was almost rescued and was lost again. So sad.

3. 26-year-old medical student
Yeah. University of Virginia. How he found the time to go out to Utah, I'll never know. Married, with a kid.

7. Some people need to live life as an adventure
I travelled far and wide when I was in graduate school - round the world trips etc...came out of school with a lot of debt and it was brutal paying it off...but I have so far paid off almost everything.

Life is what you make of it and adventure is a requirement for some! Not worth living otherwise!

Now this guy is total maniac - I am on the edge of my seat when I watch this video and some of the other videos on youtube. I watch truly in awe:

This is just absolutely wildness - your eyes just pop out of your head watching it. In actuality, the climb is not considered one of the hardest - but his way of doing it is shocking.

This video is so graceful it is almost beautiful to watch with a much more difficult climb - but I am on the edge of my seat the whole time - particularly around 2:00 - 2:20.
