Bellows Falls surveillance cams

Anybody hear about this proposal in Bellows Falls to install no fewer than 16 surveillance cameras around town? Supposedly to protect people from teenagers...

1. I could be wrong

but I think they've already done it. I know some other town near Burlington is doing the same thing. I believe it comes from homeland security funds. Dumb on so many levels, and a bit scary.
