"In case you have not heard the story, Pete's Green's, an organically certified vegetable farm in Craftsbury, Vermont had a huge fire that destroyed a barn full of equipment, harvested crops and a tractor trailer full of meats.

An outpouring of support from the community for Pete's has been incredible and it makes me proud to live here.

A benefit called "Hug Your Farmer," was put together at Higher Ground on Thursday night that featured some of the area's best musicians for an all star jam. There were so many musicians there that I am not going to even begin to name them all. The show, put together in a couple of weeks, sold out in no time with 100% of ticket sales going to Pete's Green's. The show raised over $24,000 for the farm... Amazing!!"
