"Heavy storms rake Vermont"
wicked storm here in the Northeast Kingdom!

http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/article/20110527/NEWS02/105270308/Heavy-storms-rake-Vermont?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FRONTPAGE

"...many reports of downed trees and hail up to the size of golf balls in many Vermont communities, including Barre, Cambridge, Jeffersonville, Montpelier and St. Johnsbury."

I caught this about 10pm (on Joe's Pond)

1. VT should not make the same mistake MN is making. They should replant trees asap. Keeps
things cooler which doesn't draw as many tornados. MN. is failing to replace their downed.

4. Beautiful shot!
There have been a lot of crazy storms this spring/summer.

I would say it's because of climate change but we all know it's just Gods will and we have no say in the matter.

5. My great Aunt died...
about a week ago in St. J.. The ceremonies were to be held in Essex, but the church where it was going to be held was struck by lightning and burnt down the day before.

You have to love the weather up here...

Only in VT.

:)
