2. Getting ready to live in the dark again?
Last weekend the lights flickered. I think we are up for another burst of darkness....

3. It will blow right where I am. A cousin had house destroyed last time
Cousin lives N of Seattle, had 4 trees on house, missing everyone by a couple ft. If we are lucky the windshadow will protect us like the last big storm, if not it will get us like our pre-thanksgiving storm. Bah. I hat wind. Lantern ready, even have spare mantle.

4. don't be scurred:
When you walk through a storm
Hold your chin up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark.

Walk on, through the wind,
Walk on, through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.

9. This morning as I was driving home from work
it was the most golden of skies, dappling through the snow covered trees. Took my breath away. It's sometimes hard in the wet, dreary winter here to remember that this place is drop dead gorgeous.

6. Hi all. Power is back on after 16 hours off.
Haven't ventured out yet, leaving in a bit to make my way to work and see what new trees have blown down. We had a couple nearby acreage pieces stripped of trees last summer so edge ones are geting blown down into powerlines and blocking roads. The guy that did that wants to do the same to the next door piece to us also. I hate it. Hope all are okay.
