WTF is going on in the Rainier Beach area?
I live in this area, and it's rolled up tighter than I don't know what.

Went to the mom 'n pop store, which is usually open until 1:00 am. Pulled up at just after midnight, and they are closed!

So, went to the Safeway nearby, which except for holidays, is open all night. Closed!

Went to another mom 'n pop store about a mile from the supermarket, which is also usually open until 1:00. Closed!

Finally found an open gas station/mini mart 2 miles from home.

Not griping about having to go a measley 2 miles, but shoot! Why in the world are all the local stores closing at midnight or before?

I have not heard anything that would explain this. Anyone here know what's going on?

2. No problem with power outages.
Haven't heard of any shootings or anything around here.

You may be right; maybe it's fear of whatever (pick your fav).
