Support a Sunny Weekend for Western Washington
we really need a sunny, warm weekend. badly.

not one where its sunny from 7 am to 9 am, then it clouds up & is gloomy. not one where its crappy rainy & cold all day and then the sun comes out 15 minutes before sunset.

we need an amazing, crisp, tiny-fluffy-clouds-at-worst, 70 degree weekend where everyone is gardening, washing cars, walking the dog in shorts, & laying out in the sun drinking coffee reading the NYT. i'm tired of looking like an albino.

who supports me in this effort?! dammit people, you have to WANT IT!

1. That might be hard to do considering that area is like that 80% of the time.
Move to Arizona and get fried. Good luck!

10. Methinks you aren't from around here
The rainy weather quits in the middle of June and except for July 4th, doesn't come back until around October. We have a drought every summer. Every summer!

Even though this winter was harsher than many in the recent past, I'm not personally invested in this horse because I'm a nightshifter and I sleep much better during the rainy days.

7. Enjoyed some nice sun in the San Juans this weekend!
Walked the dogs, took a jog, sat in the sun for awhile, stopped at the tulip festival on the way back - it probably was no warmer than 58, but it felt as if it were about 80.

9. I hope so!
It looks pretty dismal out there right now........I just got back from Pittsburgh, where it was a balmy 20 degrees, so it seemed warm here for a few days, but that's worn off now.
