Radio Lady in Portland, OR Needs August Guests In Studio! Here's why:

I just came back from vacation in San Francisco, and only have one local author guest booked for this Friday 8/17.

Oregon Public Broadcasting's Accessible Information Network has recently updated its format to (almost) all digital. We are working with Goldwave, a digital editing program which is a big improvement.

However, we have NO telephone lines hooked up with this new system!! I think they need a new server which is on order but hasn't been received yet. It is taking more time than I anticipated.

This has severely curtailed my ability to book telephone guests -- around the country -- to ZERO. I have to rely on local guests, or people who will be in town from other places on Friday mornings and able to come to OPB when I record my show (anytime between 7AM and 10AM Pacific Time).

If you are in Portland or Vancouver, or you can suggest a DUer or someone else in this area and they are willing and able to come down to our studio at 7140 Macadam Avenue, Portland, OR 97219, I'd love to hear from you.

Right now, both Friday, August 24 and Friday, August 31 are wide open.

There may be an opening on Friday, September 7 also.
