Joe Szwaja advances to General Election
Joe Szwaja (also here) (rhymes with "Hiya") ran on the Green Party ticket for Congress against Jim McDermott in 2000. This year, he is running for Seattle City Council against incumbent Jean Godden. Since the Council races are non-partisan, it is perfectly acceptable for me to make a post gloating at his success here in DU. So if you will excuse me a moment...







Ah, feels nice! I would ask Washington resident, and Seattle residents in particular, to help get Szwaja elected to replace Godden.
