WHY does washington keep buying Eyman's BS?
by getting 2/3 supermajority required for tax increases, he's basically just paralyzed the state government's ability to REFORM our regressive tax system.

i'm as annoyed as the next guy with the tax structure's reliance on property & sales taxes, but this is not the way to fix this.

and washington state voters keep on thinking with their reptile brains.

tim, run for governor or STFU for once. you're handcuffing the legislature & governor.

also: WTF is this 1% "budget stabilization fund"?

1. Hey! And we legalized slave labor!
I think the only reason Eyman's crap initiative passed was that no one knew it was sponsored by him till the last minute. If I had the money and the drive, I would pass an initiative that anything he sponsored had his name on it.

If people weren't so stupid, they would understand that all the de-funding of roads and transit that we currently have can be laid at his feet.

2. I have no idea. You think they would have figured out his BS by now.
And I agree: he should run for office or something, instead of hiding at home (except for the occasional stunt in Olympia) and throwing crap all over everything.

Eyeman is a chickenshit who refuses to put himself more directly in the line of fire by running for office.

4. Damned right. How many people would vote for any Fascist idiot....
if they were guaranteed to save a few hundred dollars on their taxes by doing so? Except for homeless people, a few hundred more dollars a year is not gonna change anyone's life. You can save a lot more giving up that daily latte.

One issue, anti-tax voters drive me nuts.

5. Because Washington likes keeping its teachers poor & desperate
and to tip the balance of power in the legislature to minority Republican control since they were getting voted down too often with things set up 50/50.

6. Wait till they find out
who friends are! Those few that (put) him up to it! As the saying goes, they are hard to catch, but eventually it is the stupid mistakes they make that gets them caught.
