Wednesday Dec 12th Tenth Anniversary Party:

Hey there. IT’S OUR TENTH BIRTHDAY!!! We are going to start partying at 9:30pm till we close the place! Come join us as we celebrate ten years of eating, drinking and pushing the leftwing agenda!!! We will have some light snacks and beverage, but it will be a largely “no host bar.” But all are welcome… Please join us!

New Wine Tastings Thursdays 6:00pm-8:00pm:

Join us for an informal wine and snack gathering the last Thursday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

This November 29th we feature Sicilian wines from Ajello, Sant’Anastasia, Morgante and Schietto. $15 gets you a glass…

We have late night dining Wednesday through Saturday ‘till midnight! Join us for some late fare, or take it to go!

Thursday Jazz Nights:

Every Thursday starting about 9:30pm we have live jazz featured at the Asteroid. Join us for great bop and beat! It is stunning how good these players are!

Side Project:

Local musical artists The Side Project play every other Friday at the Asteroid. They fill our venue with beautiful harmonies and grooves with Suzie’s wonderful voice and Ben’s well-timed accompaniments. Catch them after 10:00pm on Fridays 11/23, 12/7, 12/21, 01/04

Did you know we validate parking during our dinner hour? Just park downstairs and log your car in upstairs with the hostperson. Don’t put any money is the box, it costs you $10 down there, but we have arranged with the bldg. Ownership a half off rate, and we put $5 on your bill, but only during the dinner hour, after 5:00pm. Again, give your stall number to the hostperson, don’t put your money in the box.

i'd love to support them, but Casa D'Italia is so much better, with actual atmosphere & character, and 5 minutes from my house.

4. ok, fine. but you pay for atmosphere, too.

i won't go back to places that are devoid of it. i disliked the entry (through an office building lobby) intensely. inside, they cheaped out and didn't hire an architect, or cut the budget so much that it looks like they didn't hire an architect.

you can get good food a lot of places in this city. we're blessed. we can be discriminating. i don't owe them my business because our politics are similar.

to improve the atmosphere. i love great food, but i am a design snob. i am physically disturbed by thoughtlessly composed environments.
