Hurry! Broadway Across America presents "Avenue Q" in Portland (OR) June 24 - 29, 2008.

AVENUE Q is Broadway's smash-hit 2004 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book.

It's a hilarious show full of heart and hummable tunes.

AVENUE Q is about trying to make it in NYC with big dreams and a tiny bank account.

Called "one of the funniest shows you're ever likely to see" by Entertainment Weekly, AVENUE Q features a cast of people and puppets who tell the story in a smart, risque and downright entertaining way.

The New Yorker calls it "subversive and uproarious!"

Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Tickets are on sale now!

2. Yes, I did see that. FYI, I'm in charge of promoting it in Portland, but thanks for the reminder.
As I understand it, a couple of salaried Portland journalists actually go to Seattle to see the performance, and then write about it when it opens here in Portland, OR.

Regrettably, I am not on salary -- just a reTURNment (instead of retirement) volunteer -- and so I have no way to charge off the mileage and hotel it would take to do this.

Thank you for pointing this out.

I will try to remember it in the future.

3. UPDATE: For Vancouver, WA residents -- you're welcome to COME ON DOWN!
I forgot to mention that in my reply upthread.
