Anyone here planning on going to AM1090's Town Hall Meeting on

August 16th? Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Rachel Maddow, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, and Sam Seder will be on stage; Ron Reagan will be moderating.

I got my ticket today, and am really looking forward to going.

Edited to add (because I DO know there are other cities in Washington besides mine) that the event is at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

6. You might want to check AM 1090's website a few days after the

event. I know they sometimes post videos of things they have sponsored. I don't know for certain if they are going to do this one, but it won't hurt to check.

No, I didn't go. I should have though-I certainly listen to AM 1090 enough. Details anyone? Did Mike beat up on anyone this time? (He and Ed Shultz had an 'issue' at the last one...not sure what about.)

9. It was fabulous!!!

The only problem was the seating; it was all floor level, and I had to turn myself into a giraffe to see. The two tallest guys in the room were sitting right in front of me, effectively blocking my view of Ron Reagan and Stephanie Miller for the majority of the evening. x(

However, the content was great. The panel was funny, angry, smart, and everything else I was hoping they'd be.

AM 1090 has the audio and the video of the event up now; however there is a problem with Pt. 1 of the video of the event. I contacted the station, and they are working on getting it posted. Link for the station is http://www.am1090seattle.com/index.php?.

And Mike did get angry, but not at anyone on stage. :) (Though I must say that the prize for angriest tirade went to Thom.)
