and workers comp thing to me?

The BIAW makes money running a workers-compensation safety program for thousands of homebuilders statewide. What does that mean, companies pay the BIAW for what? They come out and inspect? Someone sits at a desk and approves or denies claims? Why isn't this a state job. So the money they collect is put into a claims pool, and if not spent, it gets returned the BIAW for what reason? And then they spend it on defeating Democrats? To the tune of 3+ million dollars being spent to defeat democrats. For purely political purposes. What a racket.

Should not the excess money be returned to the people/businesses that paid into this pool? Can we get a list of companies paying into this pool? I would like to know what they think about their money being used for political purposes, especially defeating democrats. And especially now days, that the federal gov is spending $8.000 a taxpayer (borrowed of course) to bail out their industry. Don't tell me it is not, homebuilders and mortgage offices are totally interconnected.

1. Good point on the bailout

went to their site and found this about the safety program. They also have a program that is supposed to return money to members on their industrial insurance.
I don't know if they do self-insured for their members or not. Self-insureds are very good at not paying their claims so that would figure for this group.

3. so i heard on the new this morning that the Seattle City Council

want to regulate the building of mega mansions on small city lots. I hope they realize that when they run for re-election, they are now in the sites of the BIAW. :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:
