44th LD Dems are maintaining a site giving you all you need to know about the caucus process

The DoCaucus.com web site is now a service project of the 44th LD
Democrats, for Democrats in Washington State.

The VoteBuilder cookbook is now hosted at the DoCaucus.com web site,
under the "Training" menu item. Log in with the user name "pco", and
password "kitchen", to see the VoteBuilder cookbook, and also view
some VoteBuilder tutorial videos.

DoCaucus.com continues to host a caucus finder application, based on a
monthly subscription to the publicly available data in the Secretary
of State's version of the Washington State Voter Registration
Database. (By law, access to this voter file is limited.) None of
the caucus finder data comes from VoteBuilder. Even though there are
no caucuses to look up right now, you can very quickly find any
registered voter, along with their Precinct, County, LD, CD, and voter
ID number.

DoCaucus.com can give the technology committee a place to host
training materials, and to support new technology development. The
DoCaucus.com files are managed with Adobe Dreamweaver, to manage the
collaboration of authorized technical Democrats.

What we see today can improve, through technical collaboration. Some
features I would like to see include:
* A more complete series of online VoteBuilder training videos.
* A voter registration database errata report, for county Auditors.
* Better integration with other technical projects, such as the maps
and vote history projects.
* Caucus location management, for jurisdiction coordinators.

DoCaucus.com is funded by the 44th LD Democrats, (although the formal
domain name ownership transfer is pending). If your local
organization finds DoCaucus.com useful, the 44th LD Democrats would
appreciate your financial support through donations to our party.

The WSDCC technology committee created 3 task forces last month, for
training, new technology, and funding. Although the DoCaucus.com is
not formally a WSDCC project, I invite the technology committee, and
their task forces, to please consider what that relationship should
be.
