The following activities need your advocacy. I've attached materials you can download and print to take with you to the listed events. But, you can stand in any public space and work for single payer.

Becoming an advocate for Single Payer
Take these 5 Easy Steps
1. Find a BBQ/Kitchen apron with pockets.
2. Pin on: HEALTH CARE FOR ALL=SINGLE PAYER
3. Stuff one pocket with Post Cards, Pens
4. Put Single Payer information in the other
5. Walk around your chosen venue, offering people the post cards for their messages--which you then collect--for delivery to the Senator's/Representative's office.

Wednesday, July 1 at 7:30 AM outside the Starbucks, North Redmond
Saturday, June 27 at 10 AM and noon, Redmond Puget Consumer Co-op.
Saturday, June 27th, 11 AM Crossroads Mall
1. SEATTLE, Sunday, June 28, GLBT Parade. Meet at 4th and Denny at 11:00 AM Wear a Lab Coat, Scrubs, or a white T-Shirt. There will be organizers there to give out materials for working the crowd. (Remember, single payer means EVERYONE IN... that includes domestic partners not covered under the employee's plan.
2. TACOMA Monday, June 29, 3:00 to 6:00 PM in front of 1019 Pacific Ave. (11th & Pacific) Rally for HR 676
and S. 703. Thank Norm Dicks for co-sponsoring 676 and tell Senators Murray and Cantwell to sponsor S 703. We want SINGLE PAYER NOW!
3. SHORELINE, Tuesday, June 30 at 7 PM. Shoreline Community College/Theater, 16101 Greenwood Ave, Seattle Public Forum, Achieving Health Care for All. A timely, thought provoking discussion of issues and visions in providing quality, affordable health care for all. Panelists: Aaron Katz, UW Dept. of Health Services, Rep. from Physicians for a National Health Program; Dave Freiboth, King County Labor Council; Rep. from Community Clinics; Craig Salins, Washington Public Campaigns; Rep. from State Legislature. Also invited are members of Inslee, Murray and Cantwell staffs.
