Is there anyone in our state who actually supports this guy?
Dino Rossi will get another big D.C. campaign fundraiser later this month, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's political-action committee.
The business PAC is hosting a breakfast fundraiser for Rossi July 27. The suggested donation is at least $1,000 per PAC and $500 per individual, according to a copy of the invitation circulated by the state Democratic Party.
Democrats seized on the event to link Rossi to the Chamber's opposition to Wall Street reform.
Rossi recently was feted at a fundraiser hosted by a dozen key GOP senators. He also reportedly benefited from a Manhattan fundraiser last month with billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Singer.
While taking money from such powerful interests, Rossi is "hiding" his opposition to Wall Street reform, said Sadie Weiner, a new deputy press secretary for the state Democrats, who was brought in from D.C. to focus on the Senate race.http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politicsnorthwest/2012298900_another_dc_fundraiser_for_ross.html
