Quick! Call Cantwell to ask her to defend Social Security and Medicare
http://www.truth-out.org/rock-paper-scissors65237

We just learned that Social Security Works, in D.C., is meeting with Sen. Cantwell on Monday. It would be very helpful if constituent calls were made to the Senator’s office tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 19th, specifically requesting that she reject any efforts to decrease benefits or increase the retirement age.

Phone #s are (888) 648-7328
(202) 224-3441

Please take a few minutes to call her office and if you can, speak for your organization as well as yourself, individually.

Thanks,

Robby

SSW is meeting with Cantwell on Monday in DC.

It would be good to generate calls to her office tomorrow specifically requesting that she reject any efforts to decrease benefits or increase the retirement age, and instead, propose increases in current benefits, which Marilyn can detail if you like. Or just see my attached e-mail.

Sorry for the short notice, but I just found out tonight in my meeting in DC with the SSW folks.

Thanks.

John
