Pierce County says No to Transit

Unofficial results for Prop 1 in Pierce County has the transit tax going down in defeat.

People said no to a 0.3% increase to keep existing bus service. That's 3 cents more on a $10 purchase, and people said no.

I rarely ride Pierce Transit--mostly Sounder Trains, Sounder Buses, and Link. However, this only made sense to support.

Oy.
