Wisconsin Solidarity rally in Olympia Saturday 2/26 11AM
Anyone want to carpool from the Federal Way Park and Ride? PM me.

Washington State Democrats,

AFSCME Council 28 is organizing a rally in support of Wisconsin workers. Local anti union-anti Democrat organizations are planning a demonstration at the same time in support of Wisconsin Governor Walker here in Olympia. We need to show up and let them know that union busting is not welcome in Washington State and that we stand with Wisconsin Labor and Democrats. The rally will be at 11:00 this Saturday Feb. 26 at the Flag Circle in front of the Legislative building on the Capitol Campus. State Employees and supporters are encouraged to show up at Council 28 HQ at 10:00am on Saturday before the rally (1212 Jefferson ST SE, Olympia WA 98501). The union will provide a box lunch and T-shirt to union members and supporters. Please send me a note if you plan to participate so we can get a count for the lunches by this Friday.

1. MoveOn, FUSE and Jobs with Justice are in on the act also
WA Rallies to Support the Workers in Wisconsin

There is a war on workers being waged in Wisconsin, and it's happening in other states too. Republican governors are using budget crises to justify denying workers their rights. That's why independents and progressive groups like MoveOn.org, Democracy For America, and Fuse Washington are joining with unions to organize rallies in state capitols across the country.

These rallies are to show solidarity with the union members in Wisconsin as well as to show the importance of collective bargaining rights for all. Come stand with us as we demand an end to the attacks on workers' rights and public services across the country. Demand investment, to create decent jobs for the millions of people who desperately want to work. And demand that the rich and powerful pay their fair share.
