1. Inslee fundraiser in Seattle 9/29

As many of you know, Jay Inslee is currently embroiled in a critical fight to succeed Christine Gregoire as our next Governor. Jay faces a tough opponent in our current state Attorney General, Rob McKenna, who will raise a tremendous amount of money in his campaign and has a strong base of support. I have been a supporter of Jay's during my own campaign and now that I have moved on to a new stage of my career, I've agreed to help him meet professionals and members of the nightlife community by hosting an event for his campaign on September 29th in Seattle. Jay is an expert on clean energy and creating new energy jobs and has regularly promoted and supported our largest industries and employers: aerospace manufacturing, high tech and agriculture. But Jay isn't just resting on his laurels, his primary goal as Governor is to create jobs across Washington, from Sunnyside to Seattle. He'll make Washington the number one place to do business in America, competing to attract new companies and working with those already here to make sure they stay. And his agenda is not limited to today's jobs; he will work to reform and develop innovation in both the K-12 and higher education systems to make sure we are preparing students for the jobs of the future and the needs of employers looking to locate and expand in Washington.

The event will go from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Nabob in Lower Queen Anne. I would like to invite each of you to attend this event, which should provide all attendees with a wonderful opportunity to meet our next Governor in an intimate and energized setting. I am hoping that we can not only raise financial support for Jay, but also have a lively and well attended event that demonstrates the youth and vitality of his message and campaign.
