Colleagues: Effective September 11, 2011, the Seattle Cannabis Resource Center has been shut down until further notice due to a hazardous materials contamination caused by neighboring contractors, and repeated, ongoing, intentional contract breaches by our landlords David Efron and Elaine Hartholz.
We are frantically searching for spaces to host our events, and perhaps to host us long-term, as we arrange to have hazardous materials cleanup contractors deal with the toxic dust covering every single surface in our building.
Tonight's Safe Access Committee meeting has been moved to Alternative Care Clinic, 5609 4th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108. The Safe Access Committee is drafting a set of recommended guidelines, or "best practices," for dispensary operators. At our public meeting last night, a request was made for more involvement in this committee by CDC members, as the final product will likely be foundational for future dispensary operations in the region.
This Thursday's College Night has moved to Sodo Pop, 2424 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. This week we present Battling Bugs in Bloom: One Grower's Experience. If you know little about mites, thrips and gnats, this class will change that.
