SEATTLE -- Hundreds of students at the University of Washington and Seattle Central Community College are expected to walk out of class Wednesday in support of the Occupy Seattle protests.
According to the group's Facebook page, students plan to walk out at noon. The Seattle Times reports students and some professors will meet at various locations, then join protestors at Westlake Park at 2 p.m.
Occupy Seattle protestors planned a "general assembly" meeting at 8 a.m. Wednesday to review a list of demands they submitted to the Mayor's Office. Protestors say they won't leave Westlake Park until those demands are met.
Occupy Seattle organizer Mark Canfield said the group was told Tuesday night they must either move their demonstration, which has been at Westlake for more than a week, or police would move them out Wednesday morning ...
