Any other DUers at Bill Maher's show last night?

Enjoyed it although Bill is pushing the age limit (IMO) to be talk about sex in every other breath! LOL
Nothing's worse than some old fart talking BJs.

Decent show overall...
HOWEVER he used some of the same material that he did in Seattle nearly two years ago -- we deserved better than that.

Count the people that decide what it is they will pefer to watch

Or what are ratings.

I think when viagara came to the market and other such stimulants ,your position there has lost ground. I really don,t know what better than that is ,inso far as what you seem to be saying.

I do know that people are living longer,
In support of the saying age and experience.

Some people believe you get what you deserve.
Though I am sure that is not always the case.

to hear someone old enough to be your dad talking about casual sex with women younger than you are. same as when they pair harrison ford up with someone 30 years younger in a romantic movie.

but just talking or thinking about sex isn't limited to only thin, attractive people under 30.

I will admit I'll be a lot happier when people stop acting like a woman dating a man 20 years her junior is laughable while a man dating a woman 20 years his junior is normal.

I frankly don't see what a person in their 50s has to talk about with a 19-year-old, but a 19-year-old is a legal adult, so why is that creepy or icky? I think it's pretty damned judgemental to say a Michael Douglas is creepy for marrying a Catherine Zeta-Jones. Who am I to say which people click and why, so long as all involved are consenting adults?

Are people supposed to just disable their libidos once they're no longer under 30, lest they gross someone out? Older folks having sex or thinking about sex is only taboo if you truly think all sex is for procreation only.

I guess my perspective on it is maybe a little different, since Bill Maher is definitely not old enough to be my dad. My dad is nearly 90. And probably - gasp! - still thinks about sex. Horrors! (I wouldn't know, since I don't talk about it with my dad. That IS icky.)

5. Bill Maher doesn't talk about sex with women his age

he talks about, and exclusively dates, women MUCH younger than him. that is what is creepy TO YOUNG WOMEN NOT ENTRANCED BY MONEY & FAME. i could give a crap, and if anything, i'm probably jealous.

what does a 50 year old man have to 'talk' about with a 19 year old? not a thing in the long run, but that's the beauty of the younger woman in the mind of an older man. no talk, hot body, no baggage.

6. No age limit, but when it becomes 90% of the show, well, I can't help but

wonder if, he's just not getting ANY himself. He's just a bit TOOOOOO focused on it. His show is better when the major theme is on politics and a little less on sex acts. If I wanted a sex show, I wouldn't be paying $50 to see Bill Maher.

7. I saw him a couple of years ago - profanity laden

and not very funny. We didn't laugh much - the older couple in front of us didn't laugh at all - but the two teenaged boys a couple of rows over chortled all through it. So I left thinking that his real audience is teenaged boys who like to hear the F word.

It's too bad, because I know he's smart, but he has to learn a few more words.
