Dean in WV on Wed? Is it open to the public?

Just heard he's going to be at Democratic Headquarters for some sort of a rally. They mentioned it on the radio but didn't give any details? Anyone got any specifics?

I have heard that he will be at the state Dem headquarters in Charleston on Wednesday at 11 AM, but I don't know more than that.

From the West Virginia State Democratic Executive Committee:

We are very pleased to announce that Democratic National Committee Chairman, Governor Howard Dean, will visit West Virginia on Wednesday, May 25th!

He will attend a rally and cookout which will begin at 11:00 am at the State Democratic Party Headquarters. Governor Dean is expected to speak at 11:30 am.

Complimentary hot dogs and refreshments will be served.

Parking will be available along nearby streets, at Governor Joe Manchin’s former campaign headquarters on Kanawha Boulevard and at Laidley Field.

The State Democratic Party Headquarters is located at 5 Greenbrier Street; on the corner of Greenbrier and Kanawha Boulevard in Charleston. >From I-64 and I-77, take the State Capitol/Greenbrier Street exit.

We hope you will be able to join us for this exciting Democratic event!

3. Dean Cancelled

I went to the rally today. Dean cancelled. I heard this was due to some problem with his flight from Washington National to Charleston.

Not good.

4. I went too

Bummer to make an hour and a half drive and not get to finally see him in person, though I realize it couldn't be helped. Good ol' USAir.

There were some college kids in front of me that drove 2 and 1/2 hours.

6. Reschedule

I was one of the two guys who spent about all the time cooking hot dogs, so I didn't catch everything that was said. I was the one wearing the 'no Dubya' shirt.

However, I believe I remember hearing Dean say he was going to come in some other time. If he does, I don't know if I'll go or not.
